Founded in 1989 with the merger of two longstanding Colorado architectural firms -- one in Boulder and one in Denver.
Original firms:
Everett Zeigel Architects, Boulder, CO founded 1964
McOG Architects, Denver, CO founded 1969
Origin of the OZ name:
By combining the first initials of two founders last names. "O" for Tom Obermeier, a principal of McOG Architects and "Z" for Alan Zeigel a principal of Everitt Zeigel Architects.
