US West Advanced Technology, Inc. - Jack Macallister Center
, AKOZ Architecture handled PUD coordination and construction administration for this state-of-the-art communications research facility. The client required a connected, single building complex that would reinforce interaction between scientists, engineers, and the project teams occupying the facility. The design provided a strong central focus for common spaces with building wings stepped and notched to create outside awareness and views for employees. The design also allowed for a sublease tenant to occupy an entire pod of the building with their own separate entrance. OZ outfitted the interior of the building to accommodate offices and work stations, computer rooms, a reading room and conference and training rooms.
