500 Bond
Bend, ORThe Village on the top of the hill will be a mixed use development on the eastern edge of the Old Mill District, filling in the vacant space between Bond Street and the residential neighborhood to the east. The development will include a village-like collection of five buildings connected by European-style courtyards and walking paths. The vision is to create ample green space that will increase the value of the entire area and create a development reminiscent of a classic hill town. Each building will be of a different size and height totaling 300,000 sf. The architecture is influenced by the historic lumber mills of the District and will appear to follow the contours of the topography of the site, accentuated with cascading volumes and roofs. The Village will contain a Deepak Chopra Spa and Wellness Center, a high-end restaurant and bar, and up to 199 condominium/hotel units. The synergy created by the spa, hotel, residences and other nearby retail and river activities will dramatically increase the life and vitality of the entire Old Mill District. The residents will be within walking distance from the shopping, offices and theatres.
