Cherry Creek Center Design Guidelines, Centennial, CO

OZ Architecture developed design guidelines for a proposed new city center for the City of Centennial. The intent was to bring into being a community of some 140 acres that successfully serves the needs of those who live and work there, that enhances natural features, and that fits within the larger regional framework. Major principles of the design guidelines include pedestrian-orientation, a diverse mix of uses ? residential, civic uses, shops, workplaces and parks, and a creation of sense of place through the use of a select palette of materials, colors and forms.
