This project included the partial re-use of an existing office building to create a downtown residential building. The building is centered around a private, tree-filled courtyard over a heated underground parking garage.Each of the 34 residences at The Walnut was designed to receive natural light from two to three sides. No two units, including the Brownstones, Flats, Skyhomes and Penthouses, are alike. The units feature extensive windows, private entrances, decks and balconies, high ceilings, and open floor plans, successfully achieving the developerís goal of indoor/outdoor living for each residence.
