Colorado Crossing
Colorado Springs, COOZ, in conjunction with N.E.S. Inc, provided master planning services for this mixed-use “Town Center”. The design concept envisions a uniquely identifiable “Town Center” that incorporates a multitude of vertically and horizontally integrated uses. The overall intent was to create a well-used and well-loved pedestrian-oriented place of enduring value that allows merchants, residents, and visitors to walk a few blocks in any direction to shops, restaurants, recreation, cultural, workplace, worship and festival events. The development program included 800,000 SF retail, 800,000 SF office, 600 room hotel/conference center, water park, cathedral and 1600 residential units. Design Guidelines were prepared to ensure that the goals and vision of Colorado Crossing are realized.
