Silver Gardens
Albuquerque, NMLocated in the Alvarado Transit Center, this affordable housing project was designed for internationally renowned developer Jonathan Rose and his Albuquerque company Romero Rose LLC. The project encompasses a full city block with a U-shaped building that faces a courtyard and is adjacent to a 2-level parking structure. The four-story building will feature 110 units with one or two bedroom floor plans, a community room and exercise room.
OZ Architecture designed this modern New Mexico style building to fit into its surrounding neighborhood. The design’s team goal was to create a sustainable complex with high quality living quarters for its occupants and a low impact on the environment. The design therefore features two energy generating windmills and several rain water storage tank.
