The Denver Post
Denver, COOZ Architecture, collaborated with the management team of The Denver Post, for the design of their new newsroom. The Denver Post occupies approximately 45,000 sf in the new Denver News Agency building. The design team used the programming document to proceed with space planning for this unique environment. The floorplan is comprised primarily of open office areas, with private offices located on the interior of the floorplate. The Newsroom includes a Library, a large Conference Room, a unique "Think Circle" area, and several TV studios. Informal collaborative, as well as smaller and more private work areas are shared by the staff. OZ Architecture was instrumental in identifying the design direction and selecting the materials, finishes, and furnishings to reflect the vision of The Denver Post.
