Denver, COSince its founding in 1955, Village Voice Media has grown to become the largest group of metropolitan newsweeklies. A growth-oriented company with an interest in major American markets, Village Voice Media publishes papers in fourteen of the country's most vibrant cities. Westword, is Village Voice Media’s Denver based alternative newsweekly. OZ designed Westword’s headquarters in a two phase, occupied remodel. The space includes an integrated workplace strategy of collaboration within the newspaper setting, including open office, conference rooms and a unique “think tank” collaborative space for group idea generation. Unique to the space is the reflection of branding and logo super graphics, providing a sense of Westword space and culture.
